The MEDIUM VOLTAGE motors with shaft height 400/500 series “HVM-HVC” are made of steel (cast iron for size 355), of the closed type with ventilation IC 411 or IC 416 and welded copper cage rotor (die-cast for size 355) in order to optimise operation with inverter power supply.
