Description
The EM series three-phase motors , closed, externally ventilated, manufactured in accordance with the main international standards and in particular with IEC 34 and 72, are available in shaft heights from 225 to 400, in single polarities 2, 4, 6 and 8 and others on request and also in double polarities, both single and double winding.
Available power ratings range from 18.5 to 560 kW. They feature a cast iron housing with bolted feet, IP 55 protection, class F insulation, bearings equipped with a lubricating device, and PTC thermal protectors on the windings starting from size 280.
Special measures have been adopted in the execution of the windings, such as to make the EM series motors , in standard execution, suitable for operation with inverter power supply up to 400 V without the need for further measures.
